This is just my opinion, but mc is hardly a scheming white lotus. He's beautiful, but very naive and sincere, his not dumb though. While I do enjoy the typical white lotus, strong and really intelligent mc... This mc here has his own charm, plus he doesn't have to scheme, his husband does the scheming. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
