Crown prince defends her by saying how could she know Yvonne was going to show up to the event, and so does the marquis but he also let them know she might have know there was poison since the necklace was glowing and she new that meant danger.

They all gasp, crown prince doesn’t leave her side, when she wakes up she tells everyone she did it on purpose because she was tired of everything and basically wanted to die. Duke and Renald are horrified by this because they do love Penny.

I could go on, lol

Callisto gets involved and want a full investigation, duke tries to push him away by saying that “the incident is a family matter” then he says Penny is going to be the crown princess so they better let him have his say. Makes them lock Yvonne in a room to fully investigate her, too. I’m going to go a little fast forward.

Well Penny enter a hidden route of the game, she is sent back and wakes up. Finds out Callisto has been there with her that whole time while she was unconscious whispering at her ear every night. She is looking for ways to just escape the Duke state, Rehal’s sees her looking for a hole in a wall, he asks her if she really wants to leave and she says yes (maybe not in these exact words).

Renal basically tells her he won’t say a thing and asks for her forgiveness. He is really sincere here, he really cares about her.

Anyway, I think* this part that I’m about to tell happens when she is traveling to the Laila followers island (because of the hidden route game BS) and a kraken is attacking the ship she is in. All of the sudden, Callisto appears and helps her kill it (he had made a copy of the map they had found before and basically has a tracker on her) and after they arrive (I think) he confesses his love for her, that when he saw her coughing blood he wished that he would die 1000 times instead of her being hurt. That we would give her the love she wished, a true love.

And them more happens, lol you should definitely read the novel, so good!
