Gosh, why do people always tell someone to move along when they make a comment of disgruntlement? It's a comment section, not an 'only positive' comment section, and there shouldn't be comment police here unless the person is hateful and etc.
I came to comment section to say the same thing.I'm somewhat tired of watching 2D characters have tea or leave for work..
I read the spoilers, it doesn't matter what's to come if you bore people before you get there. We're 39 chapters in, it's ok if it's too slow paced for some, and they still have a right to say that and till keep reading if they want.
Well, the OP didn't say they didn't understand, their point was -> This story is leading up to the big reveal, but it's been 39 chapters of set up, so let's move on. I shouldn't speak for them, but that's what I understand as their opinion.
I agree with them.. I really do like peaceful happy times, and I don't like a lot of angst personally, but I'm ready to move on with the story myself. Enough tea drinking for me. just my opinion.
It's kinda slow paced. I'm 13 chapters in, but it feels like nothing has happened. So far it's just been "rich guy gets spoiled by even richer guy" which I don't really have a problem with, I like when the mc gets spoiled by the ml in anything I read. But that's all it's been, there's nothing to really chew on yet.
I get the basics of what the story is going to be, so maybe I'm just impatient in wanting it to get there? Like we get it, he's weirded out by how ml knows stuff, he has bad "dreams" and he was abused by his family. Can we actually do something with all that now?
Or maybe I just wish he wasn't so shocked and humble at every turn, considering the fact that we know that even though their company was dying he was still getting fitted for suits, going to the spa and getting chauffeured. It's not like he's not used to opulence, even if it's not exactly to this scale.
