    I think he managed to get a hold of their birth records showing the they were related, and then proceeded to burn it. That way, there’s no way the brother can find out the truth. Hard to do anything anyway without the records for it.

    And since MC got trapped under his thumb, he’s not going to seek out the brother anymore.

    That’s how I interpreted it personally. Wonder if anyone else had a different interpretation.

    I can’t read Korean, but comparing the burned paper in the final chapter to an English sibling ship test, I think the results show they’re likely related.

    No, basically the test was showing they are not biologically brothers, it was a less than 1% result. But Neul did not want to believe that he had been putting up with all that for the past 20 years for nothing, so he decided to believe it was just Inyeop messing with him and not the truth.

    Okay, I see it now. Thought the probability was expressed as a decimal. And I see CPI’s expressed as less than 100.

    Regardless of whether they’re related, Neul’s basically screwed either way.
