Dang, a lot of people disagree with you. Look at the likes and dislikes, they’re close. Anyways, I agree. When there are so little improvements from the main couple, they shouldn’t really introduce another couple right ahead since it will only slow down the development of both relationships and the attention of the reader can be messed up.

I agree but this is the norm for manhuas, they tend to introduce side couple right on, then main couple's story drifts. Idk if bec they are fans of multiple ships or they just like to test popularity of new couples and milk from it
Side couples are the norms and they do give a glimpse of the characters but usually they do show that those characters would be a side couple this early on. Maybe hints or something to make people speculate but definitely not like this one.

Ah sorry I kinda worded it wrong there. What I meant is in Chinese manhuas if you will notice this is it's a trend for them to do this unlike in Jap mangas or Korean Manhwas they introduce/hint side couples latter part without disrupting the flow of the main couple's story.
