It’s just dumb and cheap writing from author to further plot and build their relationship, bc even tho I didn’t read this past ch 8, Ik them having sex will deepen their feelings and that can only happen using this method apparently.

I think you should give it a try cause their relationship develops really good and you have to keep in mind how the uke grew up I don't remember which chapter is but you will understand him more I believe ...for the sex tape proposal the mc wanted to have something in case the seme didn't keep his word and like for you it might be dumb but for the Mc was the only thing he could think at the moment and idk it's just preference I really liked the whole plot as I haven't read anything similar to that
