Cesar will drag rubby out of the event, escape together and plans to make Rubby his queen. But Rubby didn't want to leave Izek and she confronted Cesar that Izek made her feel important. That Izek treated her like a princess and a queen so he didn't want to go with Cesar. Cesar was so angry that he smashed Ruby's face to the glass of the garden and the shards was stuck on her face.
Then of course Freya followed Ruby and wanted for them (Ellen and Izek's friends) to see that Ruby was really cheating with his brother. But Freya was surprised to see Ruby's bleeding face while Cesar was holding Ruby's hair. Then after they saw how the brother treats his sister, Freya regretted the things that she did to Ruby.
After that, Izek followed and also saw Ruby's bloodied face with mirror shards. As he saw that scene, he rushed and clashed with Cesar to the point of almost killing him. If Izek's father didn't interfered, Cesar would've died. Taking that opportunity, Cesar escaped and the frost dragon also came and wrecked havoc. Cesar was also the one who planned to use the monsters to attack the place they're staying. That's really his plan. To use the monsters and while the monsters are attacking, he will leave with Ruby. He just didn't expected that Ruby will talk and fight back
