Not it’s not you, it’s just that’s what the term is usually associated with; Woman who fantasized gay men even through content like yaoi even though it was originally just a term meant for woman who likes content with depiction of gay men. Just like how people judge guys who are into yuri, due to sexual content that is usually displayed in adult websites. I think since the development of more uncensored sex scenes between guys nowadays, it’s seen more negative vs the older Japanese content of gay men which showed more of a person vs society rather than a person vs person.
