Why are the adults not adulting?

I get that Liz and Alicia are supposed to be like extra special and powerful but like, what idiot decided that putting up a little girl against the future saint would be the best way to educate her? What of, idk, hiring tutors for the job? Doing the job yourself if you're that bothered? Instead of letting a CHILD take the lead and calling it a day?

It reminds me of when teachers sit the "bad" kid next to the quiet kids so that the bad kid doesn't talk too much except this situation is the complete opposite LMFAO. TOTALLY agree with you bro, just more adults running away from their responsibilities and leaving it to a child

The things is..... weren't all the other adults falling head over heels for Liz as well? Like her professors who praised Liz for her thesis, but failed to point out that it wasn't particularly practical/feasible in the long run.

It seems like there's only a select few who are immune to Liz's odd charm/brainwashing....

But it is friggin annoying how the king/emperor is relying so heavily on Alicia to correct Liz..... is his position so precarious that he has to be an almost indirect Liz enabler?
