I agree with you. And I find it even more awkward to have them wear a hijad "just for fun", especially when it is only done for female characters. It is not a folk fashion, it is a religious symbol, and a rigorous one. I really do not appreciate that this episode normalizes this. Religion has no place in this series.
I saw a hijab more than a khimar. The khimar seems to be longer and covering, don't you think ?
I find it weird forcing non-muslims to wear Islamic clothing in public spaces, likeee wearing a khimar(not a hijab) is only required in mosques/other holy places.
I'm from Algeria and I can say with complete certainty that 25% of our women don't wear a khimar
