not irredeemable enough

i would've like it if it was shown that he really truly regrets it and grovel 6ft deep but wtf, he didnt suffer enough. he also didnt put any effort on making mc forgive him. he just gives up and want take his own life after being "honest" with mc instead of communicating because his life's fucked? mc's right, did ml even consider how mc would feel if he died after dumping his baggage to mc? plus, why didnt the author emphasize or make ml realize that ml's idol's friend's suffering abt the cheating issue (where the cheater gf threatens friend idol to spread her nudes if they dont break up) is similar to when he threatened mc back then? he would've been that same idol's cheater gf. he's understanding to what the idol friend has to go through with her cheating gf issue but not to mc while claiming he loves him?? i know he has his own problems but dang, does mc have to be the understanding for their relationship to move forward? like, he really didnt do anything. yknow, it takes 2 for a relationship to work. i know ml has sob story and that "he doesnt understand love" or he thinks mc view him as a trophy but that doesnt justify his actions and is still a HUGE POS. u know what they, your emotions are valid but actions are not.

lmao im just frustrated that he didn't suffer as much or greater than how mc suffered because bruh that "threatening to spread sex tape" is so fucking asshole move, especially to closeted gay mc.
