Chung Myungs green ribbon and Tang Bo's pink hair pin :C my deceased parents

Can u explain this to me plssss cause I want to understand this but I didn't notice this and still don't get it :<

They're each other's eye colours. Tang Bo's eyes are green (same as Chung Myung's ribbon) and Chung Myung's are pink (same as Tang Bo's hair pin). It signifies their close/special* bond.

*special as in just that, special. It's clearly one of Chung Myung's most significant relationships from the past, no matter how it is read, whether that be platonic or as something else ╮(￣∇￣")╭

It could also be referring to their sect colours, as I don't know if their eyes are these colours in the novel as well. The Tang clan's colour is green, and Mount Hua sect's pink. It doesn't lessen the meaning any way though, it's still significant.
