I think it is very unlikely, for a number of reasons, for instance, because the driver asked Euihyun to press on the wound as much as possible: that is to reduce the bleeding, yes, but the silly mean smile he had would be way too bizarre if Taeju was going to die, because inevitably the readers (whether it's logical or not) would hate him for that, which would be weird because the driver character has clearly been shown so far as silly and/or relatable, so that would be very weird on insight. That is the most compelling reason in my eyes (it's a meta reason but a reason nonetheless)
