I'm sure there's a 100 + ways of her going something traumatic. If I put aside that being morally wrong then it just "unoriginal" and "boring" unlike what the first guy went through. I do agree that it's shitty that a lot of times in these revenge plots if there's a woman the revenge is often sa based where it's not for male characters, like a double standard.
