every scene he's in feels rancid. idk if im crazy but it just feels like he doesn't respect nor even try to see/understand her and its turning me off. he assumes her feelings without even asking, gets unnecessarily snappish when she's already struggling to speak up, and basically makes up a version of her in his head to feel an inferiority complex over.
and it's normal to make assumptions about people, it's just he treats her as though those assumptions are gospel without even trying to get to know HER. it seems like the only time he sees her is when they're having sex and thats... gross. im not really down to see a story of an abuse victim get let down yet again by a man with the emotional intelligence of a snail.
I guess we’re just going to have to sit and cross our fingers for some character development. He is still under the impression she’s a pampered noblewoman who’s only known the finest things of life. But yeah, you can really tell he was raised by a pack of mercenaries with how brazen he is.
