Yeah, he was "revealed" already, but it was only just bits of him.. like a man without a face and when Jian Yi was dreaming about his father pushing him off a cliff.
Upon rereading the whole thing again, I hope that the author had not forgotten about the situation of yhe Jian family. Like how Jian Yi's father is most likely to be a mafia boss.
