Nah cuz be frr yall…People fear that it will become a harem or whatever whenever a female pops up, but I worry that the general disdain of female characters…will discourage new artists and writers from creating strong female characters… ones who are more than just props for a romantic interest and service.. itself of just hating blindly when a female pops up… people need to give actual advice or sum.. but yknow this is just coming from that one guy.

Welp... it's the trauma.
First... we have 3 female characters that are supposedly super strong/capable, ogmc, nwmc and the villainess right? But they all got nerfed in some way to make mc be better than them in some way. And we have this is many comics. No matter how op a female character is described as she will become weaker and oftentimes dependent on mc whenever they get involved. Even if just as "friends".
Second... we see the signs. Mc has no male friends. And we get the pov of those 3... quite a couple of times. The only pov we really get besides them (and mc) are some villains. The 3 are interested in mc (not romantically) and geting closer. And at some point they'll become a collector's harem. He doesn't get it on with them but keep them in the "collection". Author put 3 to 5 (sometimes more) girls around mc and keep things between them "in the fence". Are they just friends? Are they interested? Will mc end up with one of them? With all of them? With none of them? The author keep this up until the end because many got tired of the "normal" harem with girls hitting on mc and being hostile (or not) with each other and agreeing to share mc... because unless it's a polygamist setting it doesn't makes much sense. And an mc that "doesn't notice" their interest in those settings feel too... dumb to be likeable. But collector's is still a kind of harem.
All in all... we can see the harem signs... and the girls are not as good as they are supposed to be and that's disappointing. Also, only the brown haired one seems annoying to me...

i like the female characters but i’m assuming some are disliked because they sometimes act arrogant/when flame assumed mc is an asshole, which is clearly a misunderstanding i hope they can talk it out between the two of them! like the annoying male side characters when they call him a commoner etc, are expected to be annoying bc they just side charas but the female leads are put more in the spot light because they r not the side characters, (or people r just misogynistic)

given the reason why she would feel that way with MC not being in the story, is somewhat a mystery. feeling off or wary of mc is normal, but with the MC explaining himself once and with how he's not even bothering her, this became annoying.

SHe herself is an anomaly, but calling MC one while she clearly knows she is one too is just two faced. Maybe for us, she is like a green tea b*cth or a two faced trash who couldn't see the situation. In any case, at this point, why can't she use her brain to think that, maybe she isn't in a damn story but in real life or in a fan fiction? Because she read the original story and saw the difference between it and like, MC is the one she need to take care off or something.

Why tho? It's not like mc did something bad towards them that made them worse than what they were supposed to be. He is just better or actually quite normal, the others that are dumbed down to fit. Like those 3 questions that only he answered and his "tutoring" of the villainess... after that she started to look really dumb... but it didn't make mc look smart... just normal.
I dont hate mc, I hate the author for making shitty female characters. The saving point to me is that they don't make the clothes look like body painting... my only problem with mc is that he doesn't really try to keep his distance from them like he does with the others...

Green tea bitch is going way too far....She seems to have built a plan or at least had an idea of what to do when she arrived in the world based on the novel but then some rando comes in and changes everything, why would she be cool with that? I really dislike people saying they hate the female characters for cozying up to the mc so quick but then turn around and call Flame a bitch for being overly cautious of him. It's not like Flame decided to go into the novel to selfishly gain something in spite of the og fl so this hate still seems super odd to me
