umm not to be rude but, the past you're talking about never happened in the mc time line, the book she's reading is called prophecy about her future, and someone who hate her made another version of it (the book she read). That's the reason why she planned to escape before meeting her end. However, spoiler the real prophecy is far more different to the book she read which is twisted or different (just as I said someone who made that book hate her, well it's no yet clarified who's that person tho. or I'm late). Also, you said that why she stayed in the same place, as you can see the mc was hiding and no money to save her self, that's why she asked the blond guy for money, you might say "why doesn't she just work or live far away" the kingdom was tracing her down and show a poster of her face so everyone can know her identity if they found her.
