Huhu sorry to really say this but it keeps bothering me. Why does Eckles don’t have the right for redemption but Emily and even the two brothers get to have one when they’ve done worse. I hate this feeling huhu. I am very sorry Penelope for invalidating you, but all he really did was love you to the point where he’s willing to do everything to be with you. Of course, again, he’s actions weren’t justifiable but Penelope is to blame to for neglecting the knight. He wasn’t even aware that his knight were out to look for that yvonne.

I really don’t like Ecklis’ ending. He is such a waste, I understand where he’s coming from and I know that his actions aren’t justifiable but he was also a victim. Penelope gave him affection and raised it to 100% yet there was no guarantee what would happen if it reaches 100%. So while I reading the novel, I hoped that Penelope would save him.
Of course, I hate Ecklis but I empathize with him. If Penelope just made sure he won’t go down to a bad path, he might be saved. I really feel bad for Ecklis, I wish he was discovered by the crown prince first then his character as a swordmaster would be justified, and he would be able to live, witnessing Callisto and Penelope’s love story.
Sorry for the spoiler, excuse me for ranting here. I really need to release this frustration. If only the manhwa/webtoon altered some part of the plot a little bit like giving Ecklis a chance of redemption. I wouldn’t think about the story now and then this much. I really still feel bad for Ecklis eh. I hope I’m not behind annoying. Heheヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
