if you wanna read bl without any sex you're looking for shounen ai. If its tagged yaoi you're almost guaranteed sex. With shounen ai they focuse is more on the romantic/relationship aspect and plots. They will sort of glaze over sex if it happens.

They don't use terms like "yaoi" and "shounen-ai" to determine whether or something has sex in it. This is entirely made up by western fans. Everything is coined as "bl" whether it has sex or not. The only distinctions they have for it is another genre called geicomi which used to be referred as "bara."
