this is literally fucking art, an analysis

I smoked a joint and took notes on this and this is my perspective:

plot: Jun is empty because the other part of his soul (yeonwoo) isn't with him. He's surrounded by rude friends who ignore his wants, and only take advantage of him. They can represent the things holding Jun back, the things that are making him strive to be normal and mask his emptiness. He meets yeonwoo, his other half, and begins to remember himself. He begins to disconnect from his friends (his morality, his motivations to stay normal) and indulges in himself. Jun is so drawn to Yeonwoo because they were bonded when they were young. His friends dying one by one showed how he stopped caring and started being himself. When they were all dead, he was free. He discovers he only needs yeonwoo (his other half), and the mirrors come with that as well.

THE MIRRORS: The manifestation of malice. It recognized the feelings of malice in Jun and Yeonwoo and approved, and did whatever they wished to. Maybe it is an ancient spirit (the mention theories of it being a cult and the earliest evaporation case being in the 1800's) and it's something that has always stuck around because humans are violent by nature. If strong enough (summoned with enough malice) it binds to the person and does what they want (in this case it bonded to both of them making them one). And maybe one thing it needs to remain with Yeonwoo throughout the story are other people to take, which was why there was so many victims (it has to eat to regain fuel). Also the manifestation being in the form of mirrors is fitting. Because to me the malice is subconscious and mirrors show you your image... YK?? It shows you yourself and then voices your inner desires. Idk how to explain it.

THE HANDS: physical manifestation of desires. We can see them groping Jun and making him more aware of his (subconscious?) attraction to yeonwoo and even tearing apart everyone when they want them dead. They try to lure Jun into the black room because he wants to go in.

CERTAIN ASPECTS: the horror/thriller was done really well. the eeriness is realistic and creepy. The slow build to the plot was like watching a lion stalking its prey, it was smooth and steady and you're on the edge of your seat waiting for the pounce. The tension of Jun slowly gaining his memories and losing his mind, the slips of yeonwoos personality, everything was so good. It was like a quiet progression. The sex scenes are also realistic, consensual and hot. I also liked the comedic aspects as well.

OVERALL: 10/10. Everything was done for a purpose. Reading this faded was epic
