I do like that the FL is proactively reaching out to him and not moping about it, it’s refreshing
Hopefully they talk about it soon and the issue gets resolved, its obvious he still cares about her (like with the injury) and the FL doesn’t seem the type to back down even after all that

Guys I get why you think FL deserves better but ML is deliberately pushing her away bc he doesn’t want her to get hurt bc of him??? Like obviously he’s gonna say hurtful words because he thinks being involved with him might harm her especially considering he’s in a gang. He literally had to leave in HS bc of the gang thing
Maybe let’s cut him some slack and wait a few chapters to see how this gets resolved first
