"authors who write about are magicians" no, none of the readers think that lmao. like if you want to bring up an argument, at least make it plausible. magic and rape? i really don't know if it's possible to make people like you understand, but there's a difference between depicting rape as a fetish, as a plot trigger, and as a crime. there are stories which shows rape as a serious crime, as traumatising, and then there are stories which use it for plot trigger and then there are these which draws rape scenes with oh such intricate detail. the difference really is clear. if the author wanted rape to be viewed as a disgusting crime, there would never be panels and panels of rape being shown as some kind of 'enjoyable' activity. i know fiction is fiction, but fiction is also based on real life. try to make sense, their positions, their backgrounds can be based on real life settings, but when it comes to rape OH IT'S FICTION pay no mind to it. just step back and think for a while before trying to defend authors.

1. Even in this plot the prince isn't liked by anyone, even inside the story everyone hates him and soon he will be killed as he deserves
2. Enjoyable ? Clearly it's depicted how shitty the uke feels, and those rapist are depicted as vulture vile creatures
3. At least in this plot the uke isn't going to end up his rapist otherwise in many shouju as well as yaoi, the ukes or femal leads end up with the rapist ...
4 . There are so many psychological manhwas like bastard , which shows parental abuse, so on ...there are many manhwas which are like crime thrillers, it's detailed as well ..
Thats why they put the tag " for mature audience "
5. What should people write happy couples ? Love birds story ? There is that also ...there is everything out there ..select what you can and cannot .
6. I read almost everything action, crime, psychological, yaoi and shouju with and without toxic lead ..strong female lead
aka villainess transmigration ..lovey dovey transmigration cannon fodder uke ....

I am the same person who has read "killing and stalking " and also " cherry blossoms after winter " and " save me "


Fiction is truly fiction for me ..but that's not how I feel when I read a newspaper ...

well if u understood my point, you wouldn't have these questions really. i never said this should've been about "happy couples", im sorry but it also shouldn't be about 20+ chapters on rape. ive read a lot of these mangas/manhuas/manhwas and it's just always the same. and im sad really that you don't understand. having so many chapters on rape, the author shows the rape as being painful, show the rapists as being "vile vultures", but ykw, it takes away the point of the story. maybe it's because i write myself that it's more annoying to me, because this story clearly has a different solid plotline which is being dragged on by continuous rape. and yk why many don't find this was problematic as it should've been (including you)? because it has been so normalised. a story should not be like this. most of you are so used to stories having rape as its major content that instead of giving a horror effect, it only desensitizes the audience. it actually increases your tolerance for these rape scenes, so to get the ultimate traumatizing effect (which i believe the author was aiming at) it requires a loooot of these detailed rape scenes to be actually make the readers hate more, be horrified more etc. and also, killing and stalking never had a romance element to begin with, so it doesn't go here since this story clearly has one. since you think the newspaper should be taken seriously, why not this? this is also a piece of media, and consumed by, dare i say, even more people. really, rape should never be a filler for plot development, i just wish maybe, someday you'll understand that.

The thing is buddy I don't care ...rape stuff and cringe plot lines or even unnecessary dialogues ...I skip those panels with one thumb ...to the point sometimes I just read the raws even though I don't know Korean , I just read it just to see when does the plot develop ..if it doesn't I leave it ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~

my point was the intent of the story, even if u dismiss it, a lot of these chapters with continuous rape doesn't really add to the story in any way. it is already developed that the prince is a shitty character. we don't need much of these rape scenes to emphasise that. neither do we need his sad sob story to sympathise with him. instead of giving a horrifying effect, it's desensitizes us. and that's even more problematic. that's what im saying, this story already has a solid plot, and adding these unnecessary rape scenes over and over again just ruins the plot development. most of us skip it, maybe you do too, but like if we're skipping it, doesn't it mean that it doesn't matter if it wasn't there in the first place?

You know bro ..I was reading only shoujo but after a point I got bored
1. The female lead is ALWAYS POOR, KIND BUT HAS A BRAIN IN GUTTER, PRETTY BUT IS BLIND TO ALL RED COLORS SHE IS VIRGIN WITH A A**HOLE FAMILY, SHE IS VIRGIN EVEN AT 30 , SHE ALWAYS SAYS " NO NO " WHEN SHE DEOS SEX

2. The male lead is CEO like he has to be CEO even if he is an actor, he already has profession bruh but he still has to be a CEO and miraculously he falls only for the female lead.


So I came to bl where at least having sex, being experienced in sex are normalised and has better plots ...

But still I find many yaoi with toxic ml and a virgin uke as well ..
Like it's kind of a trend or stereotype ...

Sometimes I read for plot, if possible I would always like to read for plots but there is a crisis for versatility...

repetition , misogyny, stereotype, they exist so much in fiction, I don't know bro ..for me it's just time pass ...after learning , doing some chores ..I rather sit and read fiction than communicate with real life humans who don't know to give respect ..sort of entertainment for me ..while reading I find some really nice manhwas ...which I would come and read again and again like blood link , psycho , many of my favorite manhwas I don't remember their name ..when I come across them ..I reread them again ...

Other manhwas are just nothing to me ...even this manhwa isn't at all my favourite..merely time pass to the point I don't even bother check all chapters ..

Anyways got your point ..what to do, we do have diffrents beliefs .. a person might write moral stories but in real life they can be absolute piece of shit whereas a person , even if they write about violence they might be the most harmless human being ...like they say " never judge a book by it's cover " (⌒▽⌒)

Blood Link is one of my favorite bls of all time. Its long but I read it I'm like a day and a half And I love rereading things as well especially Roses and Champagne (if you haven't read that one I recommend it!!!) And Under the Green Light.

I started reading yaoi and then saw that there was straight manhwas so I read some of them. Idk if I found the wrong ones but most of them were some sex deprived guy who found a girl with a nice breast and wanted to fuck her.

But I totally agree with never judge a book so I usually add stuff to my list and I eventually read them. I rarely ever stop reading them (the only one I have ever done that with was Killing Stalking but I started reading it again after a few months lmao).
