I don't want to drop this but the pacing is so awful. Any big reveals or development feel so flat because there's little to no built up. It feels like a theater piece where you pick some scenes that you liked without telling a coherent and engaging story. I liked the pacing of the early chapter better. Their sword fight? Not shown and provoked out of nowhere. The rescue of the prisoned knights? Small dialogue, no attachment to them and just dead guards that Iblonde seemingly took out.
This feels like 2x speed on a YouTube video while occasionally skipping 10 seconds. I love the premise and this story has so much potential too! It's just a bit bland to me. Still I want to see where this story goes in the future so I might need to let it marinate.
