I recommend reading the novel. Its hard to explain. He doesn't like sqq in PIDW, the previous timeline. Now someone else is sqq in this timeline, its different.
That was Luo Binghe in the original PIDW novel. After Shen Yuan, who transmigrated into Shen Qingqiu body (the Villain of PIDW novel), everything changes. Shen Yuan begins to change the course of the story- causing Luo Binghe to fall in love with him instead and avoiding the harem route. Shen Yuan, the mc, ends up accidentally stealing Luo binghes heart and acting out the scenes that were supposed to belong to the women of his harem. Luo binghe is not sleeping around and would never consider a harem in the 2nd timeline- he's very very loyal. You should read the novel- it's one of my absolute favorites
That's all I can say to avoid any spoilers but the novel further emphasizes on why the original Luo Binghe had so many wives.
