This is so refreshing to read. The characters are deep, the plot is interesting, the art is amazing. I will say though (spoiler? Kinda?)
Why didn’t her parents learn sign language?!? Like at all?? My mum taught me sign language as a baby (given it was signs like ‘more milk’ and ‘airplane’ and stuff, but like….its not that hard) Baby’s can use sign language way before they can speak, I don’t get why they didn’t learn (I’m not deaf or hard of hearing either, my mum just did that). Her parent ps are chill or whatever but that just irked me, it’s like they make her do all the work to be included in a conversation.
