I'm waiting for princess to become a bird again

I could be wrong but I have a feeling she will become a bird again because they haven’t killed off the bird body yet unless I missed something. Last I remember they said it was sleeping and had maybe a month left. If they weren’t going to use it I would’ve thought it would die immediately
