I agree with you partially. to me it seems like Dan needs intensive therapy. He has grown up in very bad conditions, with no parents and no sense of security because the loan sharks have been traumatizing him since a young age.
He got taken advantage of by that old creepy doctor at his work and he doesn't seem to have a friend or anyone that he can count on in his hard time.
All of this has led to him being a people pleaser and pushover which just makes him an easy target for more abuse.
I hate the top but hate how pathetic/stupid the uke is. U think someone like that is good? thankful? haha you must be dumber than a rock thinking he's some good guy saving you when he treats you like a fucking sex toy. Nobody is doing anybody any "favor".
