Misunderstandings and lack of communication are basically what carry the romance genre, indeed in hindsight their problems look way less complicated than what the story implies, but at the same time, it's very real, like, most people breakup for things less complicated than cheating or abuse, and when you look back you think that the reason for the breakup wasn't a big deal after all, it's just built up resentment from small stuff + lack of confronting said small stuff that end a relationship. I agree that Leo is definitely not a horrible guy and that his family and friends are exaggerating a bit about his behavior, cuz it feels like he improved himself for JJ, but old habits die hard and he's still a selfish lover who needs to work even harder, even if he doesn't go back with JJ
Yeah, its not that bad for us.. but JJ kept piling his resentments so its now a huge sore spot for him and he feels wronged and used throughout their relationship. Leo on the other hand feels he was blind-sided, he never saw a problem in their relationship. But now his BF is moving out and packing up to move to an opposite team and the news came to him mid-season. He sees it as more of a betrayal now that he knows JJ is thinking about moving teams and probably thinks that is probably the only plausible reason for JJ to breakup with him.
leo only thinks of himself and does not listen to or thinks of what jj would feel, it feels like jj is the only one putting the effort here. he relies on jj a lot and used him to his convenient. it doesn't excuse that jj would not voice out how he feels but man if you were really together for years, you should pick up something is strange from your partner. you should know too that leo forgets what jj said to him, that indicates that he takes a little interest on what he said. if your partner acts these way for years, no matter how much you love them you would get tired too. I think jj breaks up with leo so that he can get his shit together and realize what's wrong with his behavior ( leo didn't even apologize after they fought and took his partners presence for granted). i hope for Leo to grow up his immaturity cuz and learn from this cuz i love them both
I think J.J is just exhaused with Leo. Not because he was a bad person but it might be because Leo is childish. I don't think the friends and family is saying he is a bad person just a bad boyfriend. Leo had become too comfortable with J.J and J.J is just overwhelmed, to the point he is asking Leo if he had ever thought that they were dating.
I don’t see the problems as that bad basically. Like Idk like I feel this is just such a calm like in all honesty I don’t even see why they broke up for real. Like in my head I feel like this is a problem that can be solved in such a short amount of time. Like I don’t see no need for breaking up at all. I genuinely feel like this problem can be solved with a simple I’m sorry LMAOOO. Like a simple convo is all it takes. Maybe it’s because I’ve only seen like one thing and that’s why I just don’t care that much but I just feel like this situation is just so not that serious to this degree and breaking up idk. Because what, JJ feels like he’s being used valid, but clearly he has a communication problem because Leo never knew that. But obviously you can retaliate that with the whole well you should’ve known that because you’re acting selfish, blah blah, but it’s like if someone never voices how they feel, and shit they don’t like, you can’t expect them know. People cannot read minds. This is not Saiki and blah blah blah like I feel like this is just not that serious, I don’t know all I know is I don’t hate Leo and that’s really that tuh
