No intention of homophobia in this comment
But those who have not explored nor confirm their orientation would assume that they should be naturally attracted to the opposite sex. There’s a name for it in medical psychology but I forgot because it comes from observing their parents (who are opposite sexes) and from strict upbringing, typically evident in asian households, to be attracted on the opposite sex. As harsh as it sounds, some would just “use” people to confirm if they are indeed straight, somehow attracted to the opposite sex, or completely gay.
But isn't that everyone is saying: " Don't label yourself until you are sure of your sexual orientation. " How can anyone be sure of something like this, if didn't try? I think in a remotely homophobic culture and environment, thinking I am hetero first, then try to confirm otherwise, is the only way to be sure of one's orientation. I am also attracted to the same sex, but because I have so little experiences close to none, I still doubt my orientation. 95% Is due to the internalized homophobia. Although, I'm trying hard to accept myself regardless.
okay tbh I feel you except mine was kind of the opposite.. I got into a wlw relationship with a girl who I thought was lesbian because that's what she said she was... then I ended up finding out she cheated on me with a guy and it turns out she was straight the whole time and was just using me to experiment with. ╥﹏╥
why they always use girls to test out their feelings
i actually experienced this irl lol i was in a relationship with a gay for three times, not that my gay radar is not working haha they said they just want to see their orientation
