I feel like we’re also kinda forgetting that the nuance of everything is so much more complex than his grand scheme of tricking society and the higher ups. Sasya could literally be killed or kidnapped, tortured, r***ed, etc for having associating with being Karel’s heart and weakness. Like he would he used as a tool. But him being unstable asf makes things so much worse, I feel so conflicted about whether it was a good idea to not tell him about his plans or to completely push him away. With unstably you don’t know if telling him things is a good idea because imagine a scenario where he does know there’s a chance of Sasya actually budding in to try to protect Karel and put himself in danger. But it would ease him of so much heartbreak if Karel says some things. If I were in that situation I would be so conflicted. Though I assume in Karel’s situation he’s trying remove Sasysa from the stage, make him fade into the crowd…
