right + this is not in any way saying that victims can't be happy after assault, they deserve the world but i hate how unrealistic they depicted trauma, it's not just going to go away bcs u have a hot bf or bcs you're successful, author did not even discuss anything abt how the uke feels abt his trauma, we got nothing abt how he dealt w it, it's constantly being used to appeal to the ml when it's not even his business in the first place and he's very gray character
pisses me off as most readers would brush this off to "it's not that serious, it's fiction" well then don't use SERIOUS topics like r@pe if you don't know how to address it seriously??? it disgusts me
