between this and Dawn of the Dragon, this author really loves whiny man-baby semes, huh?

real question, does anyone actually find that attractive, irl or in fiction? the clingy, whiny, insecure, guilt-tripping type? genuinely curious, i wanna know what's attractive abt it.

My boyfriend is exactly like this. I'm a mom type, i mean between various of my friends group i always be a mom type.

I babysat my nephew since i was a kid, and i like pamper people i love just because i'm not getting pampered enough as a kid(i was kind of abandoned? By my whole family. But i'm fine now)

And i actually found his clingy side cute. Even his whiny sometimes(i hate his guilt tripping side tho, and i made it clear to him that i hate it) but he somehow made me feels like i have to pamper him the most in the world. And i don't mind.

Obviously because he is older than me it's not all about me pamering him tho. He actually give me anything and everything that he could. Either it's money, things, or attention, he give it all to me. So it's not like i'm raising a kid(well maybe sometimes because he still ask me to guide him in some aspect in his life) but the way he loves me really brings out the mother side of me tho

honestly, thanks for explaining it like this! that makes a lot of sense and it doesn't sound like as off-putting as i first thought.

i'm prob biased against this type rn because I've mainly seen it in ppl who don't give attention back and/or become low-key stalkers when we break up lol

Yeah maybe for some extreme cases, they do tend to do that. But normally, they don't.

They are usually tough guy outside, then change into a baby princess once we are alone.

My boyfriend said when he had his first break up, he just spiral into depression(and it was during covid too, so he left without no support since he was an orphan, and no job or money or place to live)
But he did kinda take things too far with me. Like he literally will travel to my place(we live in a different city) in the middle of the night, just because i said we need a break. And when i get angry and refuse him to come inside my rent room, he actually sleeps outside my door.

So... Idk on what side to put him lol

I would like it means he's in touch with his emotions, but not to this extent that he'd cry all the time and be too insecure about the relationship
