Lol the hormonal imbalance wasn't a thing. At first his pheromones seem odorless, but he had an irregular heat that made him release pheromones. That's when he started pushing the alpha away. The alpha had sex with during this irregular heat too, which is why he ended getting pregnant.

When I say release pheromones, I mean pheromones every alpha can smell and that's the type our alpha has a problem with. Because no alpha could smell the omega all along, until the hormonal imbalance, which made his scent noticeable
