Alvin is a character with a complex history and a complex mental state. We've already clarified through recent dialog with Devon that Alvin only acts like a spoiled child when he's around Kinard and Shahid.
Just 'cause an adult has something that causes them to act childish sometimes doesn't mean they have no agency to make decisions for themselves as an adult.
I hope Kinard gets to give Isaac a really nice and gorey death.
I hope Alvin gets to do all the things he didn't get to do-- like schooling-- and gets to relearn things with Kinard by his side. I absolutely adore them together.
