I'm tweaking reading this, A LOT of things in this pains my pressure points. I just hate it when it feels like I'm being force fed by a narrative
They're not so slick trying to squeeze those panels to justify why he's fucked the way that he is. Its such a dramatic way of a change that its easy to conclude that he just can't live without a guide, not that he actually cares (try calling it love istg) about her. I like the girl and I'm sure healing with time varies for everyone, but 10 years surrounded by unconditional love just to be broken down by a piece of shit that comes shitting on your step?? As much as she denies her feelings, the author doesn't seem to allow that
