Is it just me or was the plot kind of underwhelming... It kept having pretty big build ups but it left me feeling oh is that it? Don't get me wrong, I did love reading it and I like how we're consistently reassured as readers that it'll have a happy ending lol. Like for e.g. Leticia's mum's ending — didn't feel really victorious about that. Callisto figuring out how to negate the curse — underwhelming. Side characters are also pretty much kicked to the curb after their little backstory and character arc (e.g. Barnes, Callisto) — little to no impact after half the story. Even Ditrian lost relevance after one third of the story ngl... like I didn't give a shit about him until Leticia's pregnancy again. That being said, I really loved how even the side characters were all super fleshed out! Callisto and his sister were my faves definitely. But my favourite darling had to be Julius — bro walked so the plot could run! Can't blame Sigmund because I GET why he's obsessed with him. All in all, pretty cozy comfortable story, though plot progression is a bit odd.
