No.. what the author did was right. The author was writing a cliche of omegaverses, and the ml is supposed to be the 'audience' of it. Most of the time they will get back together because of a baby too.. xD
Why people hating on the second couple? I actually quite like it and curious about their life afterwards with the baby but not possible because it's completed
