It's yes and also no. They had quite a huge misunderstanding. If you read the novel you'll understand both the pov but R*** IS NEVER FORGIVABLE irrespective of the reasons.

Did Ido know Sejin before and mistreated him? Is that why Sejin keeps getting flashbacks/nightmares and why Ido seems regretful and guilty a lot of the times?
