Today I read two manhwa & manga consecutively where the FL hides something / doesn't wanna tell the ML that she does something behind his back for his sake in order to surprise him... and she hides and hides... only to cause a complete misunderstanding (DUH)
I'm just wondering that why is this a common plot device in these stories? My problem is that they always seem comically oblivious and don't realize their actions may cause misunderstandings. And unfortunately the plot keeps dragging on and on it's getting tiring ╮(￣▽￣)╭
