What communication is there to be had? They're not in a relationship. They don't even really like each other. This is a slow burn enemies to lovers my guy. Right now it's just sex.
Wdym? Communication is needed at all times. I'm not saying that they have to confess and all that but going further it's better to be clear. If it's going to be physical only or to stop altogether or even develop further. It'll be a mess otherwise. It's the typical plot though but still it wouldn't hurt to be straightforward for once.
I honestly think really clear communication would be less realistic in this specific relationship dynamic. I think right now their relationship is something they don't need to talk about to be on the same page.
