Well I’m not tryna justify it but she killed the child because not only was he a ‘Mold’ but I guess if he grew up he would’ve been a problem. Or she could’ve just wanted to see The Lieutenant suffer
She smelled the drug on him. He used it before, therofere he was deemed a target.
i mean if she didn't kill him when he was already brainwashed and dedicated & consuming the drugs; he'd just grow up vengeful & impassioned in the cause of the cult. can't see a religious fanatic child who lost their entire fam & village NOT turning into a scourge later on
