Many pilots care about schedules actually. My cousins are flight attendants and I have a friend who is a pilot that has conveyed stressing over this before because disrupting one flight can cause ripples nation/worldwide depending on the airline. Not only does this back up time, but other things like maintenance, fuel restocks, inspections, etc. While most pilots have the common sense to circle the air or even look for safer solutions, there have been few granted, but incidents nonetheless when pilots have attempted a dangerous feat like this. However, it probably didnt end nearly as bad, but he said it was 29 knots which is extremely high to attempt landing without coming out unscathed.

Things have been realistic and relatable until this goddamn plane crash. Since when did pilots care about being on schedule? So what if other planes are waiting in line for the landing strip? Inclement weather slows everyone down. Poorest excuse to make Aidan be like “shit I could’ve died without seeing Dio one last time”.
