Rereading the chapters

I just...I honestly don't want to see a romance develop. I don't think I ever did. I don't know where I want this to go. I think I just want them to be friends.

If a romance does develop, it needs to be slooooow. Chanee can't just like him immediately (e.g., after learning about his feelings for him), because it wouldn't feel in character or make any sense to me. It would need to take a while. I don't think I could remain invested in this if he suddenly liked him out of nowhere because it just wouldn't be believable

Please don't start being weirdly possessive this is not how normal people act unless they're your parent

I don’t think Chanee is feeling possessive over Hyunwoo, he actually feels the opposite! He wants Hyunwoo to stop liking him because he doesn’t understand WHY he likes him.. he wants Hyunwoo to know that they’re friends and that’s all they are, but he feels bad because Hyunwoo treats him well and doesn’t mean any harm, so he feels like he has to take care of him as well (eg: taking him to the nurse’s office when he isn’t looking out for his own health)

I agree! I was referring to Hyunwoo actually, but I didn't make it clear. I'm up to the second to last chapter so I don't know what's changed since the most recent update. I just feel bad for Chanee right now. You don't want to reject the other person but you also don't want to give them false hope :(
