the doctor’s fate was sealed since the start, first he dated a con man and then he was infatuated with a man who his friend warned him about too (let’s remember clark warned him about the con man). it is so bittersweet because clark did care about him, in his own way. the fact he tried to deflect alex’s attention from the doc to himself to no avail makes this a classic tragedy.
something i was looking forward to and that we never got is why was clark the way he was, at one point i even thought he was more psychotic than alex but was he?
