So is MC actually a villain? Like he does villainous things or is he just a normal protagonist but dubbed "villain" by the story. I like manhwa with OP, cocky characters, but I'm not actually into villains (like hurting innocent people for no reason)

No he was originally a pysker but then died from other top class pyskers and got reborn into the cassian you now know but he doesn’t hurt innocent civilians instead he actually saves some but his main goal is to still fight villains while uncovering the truth about why he and “jeff” (top class pysker) died

Used to be a psyker (the "good" guys) but got killed by other psykers. His soul went in the body if a to-be disaster-class villain (the "bad" guys), thus becoming a villain himself, but he still behaves like a good person and still fights villains when they're actively a threat to others, like bomber man and mosquito guy.

Look, the difference between Psykers and Villains lie in HOW they acquired their power. For example, a villain got their power by selfish and/or negative reasons like revenge, etc. While psykers, on the other hand, awaken their powers by seemingly unselfish reasons. Like for example, hoping to help people or to wish that they get stronger to be their best selves... Correct me if I'm wrong though cause I might've missed something as I've kinda forgotten the past chapters lol. This is just what I'm assuming from what I do remember. But anyway, the point is that those two are not that different from each other. And honestly, how they use their powers should've been the key to dividing psykers and villains. But yeah, society has their own prejudice of the two sides even though not all psykers are good and not all villains are bad.

We actually don't know what the difference is that makes one person a Psyker and another aVillains.

Just that Villains seem be seen as cursed for crimes ancestors did.

What we do know is that for Villains they tend to go mad from their powers and they attack others which turns them into real villains.

But Psykers are able to do some really evil stuff too. They just don't automatically get labeled as bad guys for what they did, they are given the benefit of doubt for their behavior like they were somehow forced by circumstances to massacre villains.

Okay, that's what you know. But what I'm saying is based on what I know by basically just connecting the dots here and there. There might be exceptions to the rule though, e.g. the psyker that became a villain whom I forgot the name of. What you're saying is already a given But your third prompt is a good addition 'cause I completely forgot about that part.

Another difference is that villains’ appearances change a lot, whereas the pyskers physical appearance doesn’t change…. I think

But I think you can have powers but choose not to be a registered pysker, like the bartender.

Actually the bartender WAS a psyker. But he "became a villain" because he saw the hypocrisy of the psykers(?). That's what I remember... He didn't literally become a villain per se, but he just went to their side. (Or did he? I forgot, I'm not sure)

They said that regular people who don't have powers live in the vilzone too. They have a term for those who aren't like active working hero's. I forget it tho
