Tbh, in stories like this where the ml is a forver asshole and the mc suffers and still continues to suffer, I had always hoped for a turn out like that but it never happens. I recall that I have read a manhwa (?) that did turn out like that but the manhwa only has I think less than 10 chapters, is poorly written and has a poor storyline so I don't really remember its title or anything else about it.
