It's actually a japanese accent in a particular place in japan I think provinces area. I forget what they're called.
Well its english and the accent is american maybe suburban i think, they cant emulate Japanese accent to English because well they are different languages, using basic English would have been better since the accent is making some of the serious situations kinda silly imo
This is sad his grief for his friend’s death specially after seeing his dead body was stunned by having this anomaly using his friend’s body as a suit and tries to take his place as if nothing happened, part of me feels like those protective and romantic feelings aren’t actually the anomaly’s but the real hikaru’s feelings towards his friend, since the anomaly (what i started to call it) has taken over his body, memories, and probably feelings is now confused, also the art is stunning, only downside is this weird and honestly cringy American accent the character suddenly have, its like with the random British accent in the pumpkin princess slasher manga its off putting this is a manga taking place in a japanese rural town just put regular English without accent, making poor grandma sounding like some pirate lol
