Yeah I think it was a bit unfair for him to die like that... Well at least we knew it wasn't aria's doing.. it was mielle who put too much dosage of the poison and she could have saved his brother by admitting there was poison in his cup... So in the end she truly was the epitome of a villainess.. she has no remorse..argh I hate to see the peaceful face of hers when she died, even lady isys is far more better than her..because she learned her lesson
I finally decide to finish the story. I always hated Mielle and Cain but to see their endings made me sad. I don't know why I never want a character to die because I believe in redemption but in Cain case, he was actually becoming a better character. He was for sure a creep and disgusting and Mielle never got her redemption arc but to think death was their ending was truly sad. But yeh most people will disagree and its fine. It was a good read regardless!
