How come it lead to being privilege . There are cultures whose adult kids still lives with their parents until they're able to save up and live by their own or even get married. There are families in korea who does this too... Parents and kids working and supporting together to pay the bills and elevate one another's economic statuses.
My opinion is that Youngsoo should focus on his exam and pass it so he can practice filial piety and get things over.
Honestly we don't even know the uke's family's economic situation. We don't know how he feels about having a college degree, yet doesn't have a permanent job and studying for the civil service exam yet failing it twice.
Do we even understand how desperate he feels that he felt the need to move out of his parents home just to be independent, and having to cut back hours of studying while also having a part time job?
Sure, he needed the reality check, but not from a dickhead that has the advantage to pass the exam in one take (but didn't) and is clearly being condescending.
Glasses dud is pretty mean but can't deny the things says about how half-ass Youngsoo studies. It's already his third time taking the exam and he only studies a bit?
